The Gold Coast 500 is a Supercars Championship race weekend on a 2.96km temporary street circuit through Surfers Paradise and Main Beach. In 2026 it ran Friday to Sunday in late October.
Arriving by car
In 2026 there was no public parking at the event, and a strictly enforced 2-hour limit applied in many nearby residential streets. Supercars recommended public transport: the G:link Main Beach station was 200m from Gates 1 and 2.
Getting home
In 2026 the general-public gates closed at 8:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 5:30pm on Sunday. Extra G:link trams ran into the evening, and event tickets included free travel on G:link, trains and Kinetic buses.
